Passion & perseverance

I find that I can define most areas of my life with just those two words.

In my personal life, I surround myself with hobbies and goals that I am passionate about. Much of my time is spent exploring new design outlets like sewing, photography, writing, gaming, and a myriad of other creative endeavors. I am lucky to share my life with three Pomeranians, an American Eskimo, and my husband of nearly three years. We spend as much time as we can with each other and make every moment worth it.

Challenges are something that everyone must face in their lifetime. Some seem insurmountable and some are just a small hurdle. I strive to overcome obstacles and come out on the other side better than I was before. I constantly remind myself that “everything happens for a reason”, and I know that the reason will be revealed to me in the future.

I have been working as a graphic designer and art director for nearly 10 years. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. While working, I realized that I excel at taking a client’s ideas and turning them into organized, efficient, and eye catching design. My favorite projects are those that turn plain facts and figures into stunning informational graphics or easy to understand charts. I have 7 years of corporate experience designing white papers, brochures, one-pagers, flyers, financial reports, advertisements, and just about any other print or downloadable design you can think of. I also have worked on many conferences and meetings; designing anything from invitations to pop-banners and room signs. I strive to create brand cohesion while still bringing creative and unique looks to individual events.
